FASHION FIESTA SATURDAY 14th SEPTEMBER
The Whangarei Racing Club is hosting its annual Fashion Fiesta day the Saturday, the 14th September at Ruakaka.
It’s going to be a great day with fascinators, frocks and frills but be sure to look out for the Logan Racing team as we have a number of horses entered for the races. We start the day off with 5 out of the 6 runners in Race 3 the Steve Haywood Master Jeweller Rating 85 2100 metres with Seed of Speed, Uncle Shayne, Master Ip, Mosquito and Another Invader.
In Race 4, the Polwarth Design Rating 75 Benchmark 1600 metres we have both Handsome Mates and Radar entered. Races 5 and 6, the passionforhair.co.nz Rating 85 Benchmark 1400 metres and LJ Hooker Michael Springford Memorial Plate Open Handicap 1200 metres, we have Splitfire nominated for both races so far, we will decide on the Saturday morning which race suits her best.
In the feature race of the day, the Westbury Stud Challenge Stakes 3 Year Old 1200 metres, look out for Thornbird Lass and Big Voices. In the lucky last race, the Eye Magazine Rating 65 Benchmark 2100 metres we have both Jungle Knight and Rulaline running.
