LOGAN RACING WINNERS AT THE NZTBA AUCKLAND AWARDS

At a star studded gala event held at Ellerslie last saturday night, hosted by Aidan Rodley and Brendan Poppelwell, The Logan Racing team and associated owners took out some prestegious awards.

NZTBA Auckland Trainers of the year
NZTBA Auckland Horse of the year
NZTBA Auckland Owners of the year

Horse and Owners of the year were of course Habibi, owned by Peter, Heather and Gavin Crosfsky and Pam McIntyre.Congratulations to all. Peter and Heather were in attendance and had a great night. Unfortunately Gavin had to milk the cows on the family farm and Pam was ill. In a short interview the Logans said:

1. You were awarded NZTBA Auckland Trainers of the year, what does this mean to Logan Racing?
It's a great privilege to win this award. To be honoured by members of the industry we are involved with means a huge amount.

2. Habibi was absolutely the flag bearer for the stables what were the other highlights for Logan Racing?
Reaching 50 winners for the season was an obvious highlight. Also even though Durham Town didn't win, having him perform at the top level with placings in the Railway and Telegraph after having a disappointing campaign in Brisbane was also a highlight.

3. What do you think makes Logan Racing successful?
We try to pay attention to small things. Keeping horses and happy staff always brings results.

4. It was a record season for Logan Racing, how does this make you feel and what are the goals for this season?
We will continue to do the same things this season, records etc aren't our main goal. If you work hard and do things right the results will come.
