LOGAN RACING RUNNERS @ AUCKLAND, CHRISTCHURCH AND WAIKATO
It's St Patrick's Cathedral Raceday at Headquarters this weekend and Logan Racing will be in action.
In Race 1, the Monitor NZ Ltd, both Radar with Kevin Leung claiming 3kgs and Stacked with Mark Hills engaged to ride, look to back up their recent good Avondale form in this Rating 65 Benchmark, 2400 metres. Later in the day, in the penultimate event, the exciting Telepathic with Michael Dee riding and claiming 3kgs takes her place in the Davis Funeral, a Rating 65 Benchmark over 1400 metres. In the final event of the day, the Kiwi Asset Finance Ltd Mile, a Rating 85 Benchmark 1600 metres, stable up and comers King Zeus again with Kevin Leung claiming 3kgs and Mosquito with Mark Hills, the jockey, are schedule to meet as they head towards a summer cups campaign.
Further south for the Canterbury Jockey Club meeting @ Riccarton Park, Logan Racing unleashes it southern contingent starting with Jungle Knight who we hope turns around his southern form in Race 1, the Majestic Horsefloats Supporting NZ Racing, Rating 75 Benchmark 1800 metres. In the following race Handsome Mates will be competing in the Piccadily Books and Postshop at Avonhead Mall, Rating 85, 1600 metres. not to be forgotten, Whistling Straits chases the spoils in the Christchurch Casino Spring Classic Handicap over 2000 metres.
Dont forget its Labour Weekend and on Monday, Logan Racing will have runners racing at Waikato. One of our competition horses Ngatira Gold with Trudy Thorton riding competes in the Chris Wood Racing Stables, Rating 65 Benchmark, 1600 metres. Benghaazi Burner will race in the Sapphire Properties Maiden over 1400 metres and Big Voices runs in The Ready To Run Sale, Rating 65, 1600 metres with Matthew Cameron engaged to ride.
