LOGAN RACING RUNNERS ON MELBOURNE CUP DAY

Ishimine will be the sole Logan Racing representative down south where the Otago RC race at Wingatui. She will compete in Race 4, the Dunedin Casino Trophy, a Rating 85 Benchmark over 1200 metres and Shankar Muniandy will take the ride.

Further north at Headquarters, the traditional Melbourne Cup raceday @ Ellerslie, Logan Racing has good representation with 5 runners due to compete. The day kicks off with Pussy Willow who returns to racing in Race 3, The ROCK Rating 85, 1200 metres. She has unfortunately got the visitors draw and Matthew Cameron is engaged to ride. Race 5, sees Stand Your Ground take his place in the Bach Espresso 3YO Maiden 1400 metres, another mount for Matthew Cameron. The Carbine Club Trophy Open Handicap over 1600 metres has King Zeus included in the field, Michael Coleman has been engaged to ride. Michael Coleman also takes the mount on Kendoka in the Caci Mile, a Rating 65 Benchmark 1600 metres. In the last race of the day, Mr Consistency, Radar will run in the Auckland Co-op Taxis Stayers Rating 2400 metres, Kevin Leung takes the ride and claims 2kgs.
