The 2014 City of Auckland Cup winner, Mosquito returns to Ellerslie today to compete in the Karaka Stayers Cup. Top international jockey James McDonald also reunites with this 5YO Golan gelding where he has drawn barrier 11 in this Open Handicap over 2200 metres.

Also returning after winning at Ellerslie last start is Stand Your Ground. This Coats Choice 3YO is again to be ridden by overseas based kiwi jockey in Michael Walker who has barrier 10 to contend with in The Oaks Stud Mile, a Special Conditions event over 1600 metres.
