LOGAN RACING @ WAIKATO
Paco Kid, Radar and Durham Town will fly the flag for Logan Racing this weekend at Te Rapa.
Paco Kid kicks off precedings in the NZI Insurance Premier, a Special Conditions event over 1600 metres. After a sound 2nd resuming at Te Rapa at his last appearance, the 5YO Hawkeye gelding will be ridden by leading jockey Mark Du Plessis and who has drawn barrier 7.
The consistent Radar heads the field in the Don Coltman Memorial Premier, a Rating 65 Benchmark event. Apprentice jockey Kevin Leung will claim 2kgs and guide this 5YO Spartacus gelding but he has barrier 17 to overcome over 2100 metres.
The newly named NRM Sprint probably sees the best sprint field assembled this season to compete in this time honoured event. Durham Town represents Logan Racing in this Group 1 over 1400 metres and will be ridden by returning Brisbane based jockey Vinny Colgan where he has drawn favourably in barrier 2.
