LOGAN RACING RUNNERS @ AVONDALE, TE RAPA

The Avondale Jockey Club hosts Anzac Day races and Logan Racing commences the day when it presents Jenuwin in Race 2, the Party Bus, maiden event for F&M over 1600 metres. Mark Du Plesis rides this Iffraj - Anna's Choice, 4YO mare and has drawn barrier 5 for owners Jen Campin Racing Partnership NO.2, S & D McIlraith, A Scott, S Hinchliffe & R Gubb.

Race 3, sees the return to racing for Rocknrolla in the Bruces Amies Pharmacy, a maiden race over 1200 metres. This Towkay - Danness, 3YO filly will be ridden by Michelle Wenn and has drawn barrier 5 for owners Mrs D M Logan, F D & Mrs J G Mein, Miss K O'Riley, C Thomson & M G Treloar. El Decano, a gelding by Golan - El Fugaz, is also enterd for this race and has drawn barrier 1 however is 5th emergency. No rider has been declared yet for this 4YO gelding owned by Mrs DM Logan, GD Logan and Dr JL Sprague.

In one of the feature races for the day, the Morgan's Furniture Governal General's Cup, at Rating 85 event over 1600 metres, Logan Racing will saddle up two runners. Handsome Mates, a Hansom Ransom - Kimberley Rose 7YO gelding lines up for pilot Mark Hills and has drawn barrier 8 for owners P D Collins, J B Hart, R J W Seton & D H Wale. Also competing in this event is Telepathic, by Mossman - Telepathy, owners NZ Thoroughbred Holdings Ltd will have Danielle Johnson engaged to ride this 3YO filly and she has drawn barrier 10.

Saturday sees the Cambridge Jockey Club hosts Travis Stakes day at Te Rapa. King Zeus will line up in the Harness Jewels @ Cambridge 31st May, Rating 85 Benchmark event over 1400. This Thorn Park - Maidjeu, 4YO gelding has barrier 14 for jockey Opie Bosson and owners GS Racing Ltd, Lucid Investment Ltd, B G Moffat & W M Woods.
