In the Scot Thrust Open Handicap over 1600 metres, Magna Carta is second up for this campaign. This His Royal Highness - Tuckahoe 7YO gelding has drawn barrier 1 and Michael Coleman has been engaged to ride for owners M Darroch, G J & P A Heath, W Hill, Mrs D M Logan, R C Smith & P L Woods.
Race 5, the Lindauer Maiden Mile, Paco Kid looks to continue his recent good form with Danielle Johnson taking the mount. Owners S K Olsen, N R & Mrs P J Sinclair of this Hawkeye - Petal on Point 5YO gelding will have to contend with barrier 12.
Given that it is Irish raceday, To Be Sure has to be the omen bet. Across the Tasman at Brisbane's Eagle Farm, Telepathic lines up in the Grand Prix Stakes for 3YOs over 2200 meters. Mark Du Plessis takes the mount on this Mossman - Telepathic filly where she has drawn barrier 14 for owners NZ Thoroughbred Holdings Ltd.
