LOGAN RACING MOURNS THE PASSING OF BILL WOODS

The legacy of Bill Woods is a long and distinguished list of achievements. None more so than as a prolific owner and staunch supporter of Logan Racing. He was also an owner trainer in his own right, winning his first race with Glenion at the old Kensington race course in Whangarei. Whilst his list of race winners was many especially with Logan Racing, it was his endearing enthuaism for horses in general that will be strongly remembered.

Racing is a fickle industry with many ups and downs, and Bill's support of Logan Racing irrespective of circumstances only epitomised the man he was. This was replicated in his personal life as the father, grandfather and great father of the Woods family.

Our condolences to Peter, a driving force behind the success of Logan Racing and to the wider Woods family.

RIP Bill, your big smiling stature will be missed at the Ruakaka race course.
