LOGAN RACING HAVE 3 RUNNERS AT ELLERSLIE SATURDAY 5TH SEPTEMBER

Race 9  The Puhoi Valley Rating 75 1400m.   Rocknrolla has drawn 9 and will be ridden by Brendan Hutton. The 5 year old mare is by Towkay out of Danness and is owned by Donna Logan, Mark Treloar, Kim O'Riley, Colin Thomson, Len Reed, Tane Beckham, Nathan Pene, John Frew, Myra Langstone and Dave Mein. She has had 23 starts for 4-2-5 and in her second to last start at Ellerslie on May 15th she finished on strongly for 4th. She has been working well but may need the run. Doesn't mind the wet but this looks like it might be very heavy.

Race 10 Auckland Co op Taxis 1600m Rating 65 .   Bravo Supremo has drawn 15 and will be ridden by Michael McNab. The 4 year old gelding is by Ifraaj out of Pentura is owned by Lena Ang. He has had 6 starts for 1-0-2. Has not had luck last 2 starts being restricted for room, hampered on jumping and having no cover. We expect a big run. Sea Of Speed has drawn 8 and we have not decided on a rider yet. The 4 year old grey mare is by Any Suggestion out of Princess Valour and is also owned by Lena Ang. She has started twice at Ellerslie , once in the Soliloquy Stakes where she ran 5th and then ran 4th in the Laser Group 1200m on June 1st where she jumped awkwardly, lost ground and got caught wide. We expect her to be hard to beat.
