5 RUNNERS AT ELLERSLIE TODAY NOVEMBER 28TH FOR LOGAN RACING STABLES

Race 4 the Swiss Deli Maiden 1400m will see Segenhoe ridden by Matt Cameron from the barrier  8.   A 4 year old gelding owned by Est late NA Mortimer, Jan and Cindy Mortimer. A very strong finish at Dargaville last start on 13th Nov over 1100m. Over more ground we expect him to be hard to beat.

Race 5 the Bentleys Chartered Accountants Rating 75 over 2100m will see Zafrenzy run from barrier 10 ridden by Kelly Myers. The 5 year old Savabeel  mare is owned by Mrs C,MC,MK and TP  Dravitzki , Mrs KM Megchelse and L and T Vincent. She fought strongly in the finish to run 3rd at Dargaville on 13th Nov over 1800m so we expect her to be right in the finish here.

Race 6 the Dunstan Feeds Championship Qualifier Rating 65 over 1600m will see Brampton Loco run from barrier 3 ridden by Michael Coleman. The 5 year old mare is owned by EP and Mrs MJ Johnston. She has worked on very well after her 1200m trial on Oct 27th and we expect a big run today.

Race 7 the Trevor Eagle Memorial 3YO 1500m will see Sultan Of Swing run from barrier 13 ridden by Mark Du Plesis fresh back from a spell due to injury. The 3 year old Bachelor Duke colt is owned by IDL Racing. He won his first start on Oct 24th in impressive fashion. Although the draw is a bit wide we wouldn't be surprised to see him win this. He is working really well and is a very nice horse. Valley Girl also starts in the race and will  run from barrier 15 ridden by Kelly Myers.  The 3 year old Mastercraftsman is owned by D, L and S Hawkins and Llan hennock Trust. Like Sultan Of Swing she won her first start on Nov 4th in impressive fashion. She has also drawn wide so any rain would help. She is good enough to win this race. The stable has had a great record in this race - after Ocean Park we had wins with Habibi, Rising Romance and Midnightmagicman ran second last year to Tavi.
