WARZONE RUNNING AT TE RAPA SATURDAY 19TH MARCH

Race 4 the Celebrating Jack Baker's 90th Birthday Benchmark 1400m sees Warzone start from barrier 11 ridden by Samantha Collett. The 5 year old War Pass mare is owned by Whakanui Stud Ltd and has had 15 starts for 2-1-1. Her last start was at Ellerslie on March 5th where she ran 7th. She is capable of a first 3 finish in this.

Valley Girl leaves next week for Sydney and will start in the Vinery Stud Stakes for $500k over 2000m. The Group 1 race will be at Rosehill Gardens on Saturday March 26th. She will then line up in the Australian Oaks for $1 million over 2400m. The Group 1 race will be run at Randwick on Saturday 9th April. The Vinery is a pipe opener but she will be hard to beat and she will be spot on for the Oaks. Brett Prebble will ride.

Volkstok'n'barrell leaves a week later for Sydney and will start in the $3 million Star Doncaster Mile on Saturday 2nd April  at Randwick. He will be spot on for this race. He will be ridden by Craig Williams.  Read the attached article.
