LOGAN RACING STABLES GOT 5 WINNERS AT BOTH AUGUST MEETINGS IN 2016. CAN THEY DO IT AGAIN ON AUGUST 16TH 2017 ?

August 6th 2016 Logan Racing Stables had 5 winners Zafrenzy,  Mongolian Falcon, Rocknrolla , Valley Girl and Cambridge 3 seconds  Beaufighter, Honour Princess and All Roads and 3 thirds Lord and Master, Taken The Libert and Hasselhoof.

August 27th 2016 Logan Racing had 5 winners Madeira, Greencast, Lord and Master, Taken The Liberty and All Roads, 2 seconds Zafrenzy and Cambridge and 2 thirds Floating Heart and Wyndspelle.

Race 1 the Celebrating 40 Years 15/16 September 1000m 3YO Maiden $10000 sees The Big Easy start from barrier 9 ridden by Troy Harris. This horse has gears and if he starts will be hard to beat.

Tavlin starts in the same race from barrier 7 ridden by Matt Cameron. The 3 year old Tavistock gelding is owned by D Logan, M Dravitzki, Cambridge Stud, T Clifford, K Crooke, S Devlin, M Slater and Dame J Christie. On Debut. Lets hope this strapping son of Tavistock can be one of our future stable stars.

Viva La Burgundy also starts in Race 1 from barrier 10 ridden by Alysha Collett. The 3 year old Burgundy gelding is owned by D Logan, J Vaughan, G Cossey and G Sutherland. He is on debut and hard to get a line on yet. Has been working very well.

Race 2 the Christmas At The Races Ruakaka 19th December Rating 65 1200m $10000 sees Rocstock start from barrier 5 ridden by Troy Harris. The 4 year old Tavistock gelding is owned by B and M Harvey. Won on debut at Ruakaka on July 8th and will be hard to beat again.

Race 3 the NZB Insurance Pearl Series Race Maiden F and M 1400m $12000 sees Granadilla start from barrier 9 ridden by Vinny Colgan. The 4 year old Encosta De Lago mare is owned by Sir Peter Vela. She had her first NZ start at Ruakaka on July 8th and got back from the start. Had to bump and push her way through and came home strongly to finish 5th behind Rocstock. Should be right in the finish here.

Race 4 the Fell Engineering Maiden Mile $10000 sees El Fortuna start from barrier 3 ridden by Daniel Johnson. The 4 year old is owned by D Logan and K Sprague and has had 7 starts for 0-0-2. Blew out over a mile here last start and wouldn't surprise to see him break maiden ranks .

Raison D'etre also starts and will run from barrier 11 ridden by Troy Harris. The 4 year old Redwood mare is owned by Stirling Bloodstock Ltd. Has been trying to make a field for a while. The 5 year old O'Reilly mare is owned by Jen Campin and SJ Hinschliffe and has had 11 starts for 0-1-4. Got back in her last start at Waikato on a Slow 7 track and came home via the Cape. Ran home strongly for 5th. Has only had 2 starts at Ruakaka for a 4th and a third and should improve on that record here.
