Race 1 CROSSROADS WAIKATO'S No. 1 PUB TAB 1600 MDN 1600m - $10,000

Sees El Fortuna start from barrier ridden by Danielle Johnson. The 4yo Castledale gelding is owned by Mrs D M Logan & Mrs K C Sprague, and he has had 8 starts for 0-0-2.  Has yet to show anything but has been working well and probably won't mind the ground.

Also sees Raison D'etre start from barrier 4 ridden by Leith Innes. The 4yo Redwood mare is owned by Stirling Bloodstock Ltd. She has had 2 starts only, and ran 3^rd in her last start. Got well back last start at Ruakaka and came home very strongly out wide to run third. Probably won't like the ground but has first crack at it. Should feature here and will improve for Ruakaka on Oct 4th.

Sees Our Katy Cruz start from barrier 6. The 4 yo Per Incanto mare is owned by D M Logan, G P, M C & Mrs P J McArley & M L Page. This is her debut run. This is a nice mare and should handle the ground.

Race 6 SQUARE LEG 1400 MDN 1400m - $10,000

Sees Kachhi start from barrier 8 ridden by Danielle Johnson. The 4yo Showcasing mare is owned by M A & Mrs S L Treweek. This is her debut and she ran  2^nd in her last trial. Really strong trial on a Heavy 10 at Avondale should make her one of the best of the day, even though she would prefer a better track. A smart horse.

Race 8 FIVE STAGS LEAMINGTON 1600 Rating 65 Benchmark* 1600m - $10,000

Sees Pursued start from barrier 6 ridden by Sam Spratt. The 4yo Guillotine gelding is owned by the Thoroughbred Trader Ltd. He has had 7 starts for 1-0-1, and ran 7^th in his last race. Shouldn't mind the ground and put in a nice exhibition gallop with Volkstok'n'barrel last Saturday at Ruakaka.
