↙A trip to Sydney is one possible option for Derby placegetter Danzdanzdance.

The connections of Danzdanzdance will monitor the New Zealand Derby placegetter’s progress before planning their next move.

 The only filly in this year’s running of the $1 million classic at Ellerslie, Danzdanzdance was a strong-finishing third behind Vin De Dance and Mongolianconqueror. The daughter of Mastercraftsman finished 1.6 lengths behind the first pair.

 “We’ll watch her for a few days and see how she’s doing before we decide anything,” co-trainer Chris Gibbs said this morning. “There’s the option of going to Sydney for the autumn carnival, or we could send her out for a spell and save her for the spring.”

Bought for just $5000 as a yearling, Danzdanzdance has had five starts for a win, three placings and more than $130,000 in prize-money.
