Race 1 the Open Maiden 1400m LC Turf $20k starts at 18.50 Sing or 23.50 NZ time and sees Smart Success start from barrier 7 ridden by CC Wong. The 4 year old Jeremy gelding is owned by Lucky Stable and finished last on his last outing on December 2nd. Stable is looking for improvement here.

Race 4 the Open Maiden 1400m LC Turf $20k starts at 19.50 Sing or 00.50 NZ and sees Whakaaria Mai start from barrier 5 ridden by Australian new comer Ben Thompson. The 4 year old Showcasing gelding is owned by Whakaaria Mai Stable and finished third in his last start on December 7th. Jumped back a bit and came home strongly. First run back from a break and will hopefully be coming home strongly again.

Race 6 the Class 3 1000m Poly $70k starts at 2055 Sing time or 0155 NZ and sees Golden Flame start from barrier 12 ridden by CC Wong. The 4 year old Mossman gelding is owned by Golden Billion Stable and won at the trials on Nov 27th and then ran 3rd on Dec 7th. Has always led and is obviously a nice type . The wide barrier is a concern over 1000m.

Sunday January 20th
R1 the Class 4 1000m Poly $50k starts at 1310 Sing or 1810 NZ and sees Hippo Ventura start from barrier 10 ridden by Ben Thompson. The 8 year old Iffraaj gelding is owned by Hong Kai Oh and has run 3rd on his last 2 outings on Dec 2nd and January 1st. We are hoping he can weigh in again.

R3 the Restricted Maiden 1400m LC Turf $75k starts at 1410 Sing or 1910 NZ and sees Storm To Win start from barrier 6 ridden by CC Wong. The 3 year old Storm Creek gelding is owned by Storm To Win Stable and ran 2nd to Stable mate Thunder Dragon in his last start on Nov 20th. First run back and can hopefully feature here.
