LOGAN RACING SINGAPORE RUNNERS THIS WEEK

Friday 8th March

Race 8 is a Class 4 LC Turf Course D over 1400m and sees Storm To Win run from barrier 10 ridden by JP Van Der Merwe at 2200 or 0300 NZ. The 3 Year Old Storm Creek gelding is out of a well connected mare , Dwandaofu, being a half sister to Turn Me Loose who won Group 1's such as the NZ 2000 Guineas, Futurity Stakes in Caulfield and the Emerites in Melbourne. Storm To Win is raced by Storm To Win Stable made up of Karen Petch, Mr Lim, Peter Woods and Michael Pereira. Has had only 3 starts and placed second and first at his last 2 outings. Has drawn wide but can hopefully still get some of this.

Sunday 10th March

Race 5 is a Class 4 1000m on the Poly Track and sees Super Posh start from barrier 4 ridden by Ben Thompson at 15.15 or 20.15 NZ. The 3 Year Old Super Easy gelding is raced by Super Posh Stable made up of Mr Chiam, Dennis Tay, Ashley Goodwin, Tony Chown, Sandy Moore, Ivy Pearson, Peter Woods and Mukand Bassarge. Has had only 3 starts , last win was on Oct 14th. Caught wide last start from a wide draw on the Turf for the first time. Back to the Poly and working extra well , plus a good draw , should see Super Posh perform well.
