BIG DAY FOR LOGAN RACING STABLES ON HOME TRACK

The New Zealand Logan Racing Team have eighteen horses lining up to race this Saturday 15th June on our home track. The Track is currently rated a Dead 5 and the winter-less North will hopefully be fine.

Race 1 at 12.27pm, which is a 82 2100M we have DRAGON STORM number 6, jumping from barrier 1, carrying 54kgs and Matthew Cameron confirmed to ride. Good Luck to AC Consultant and Investments Ltd, CY Chen, Golden Tower NZ Ltd, Karaka Mews Development Ltd, NZ Chinese Jockey Club Ltd and Pegasus Bloodstock Ltd.. Last start winner at Ruakaka with a good draw , can repeat.

Race 2 at 1.02pm, which is a MDN 1400M we have LORD POLONIUS number 1, jumping from barrier 2, with the top weight of 58.5kgs with Cameron Lammas aboard representing our amazing owners MICHEAL & FAYE VAUTIER. Has run second last 2 outings and can hopefully break Maiden ranks here. 

 Also lining up in this race we have CHAPEAU number 9, jumping from barrier 7, carrying 56.5kgs with Craig Grylls aboard and running on behalf of both AUCKLAND RACING CLUB WINNERS CIRCLE SYNDICATE, CHEAM BLOODSTOCK LTD  and HAUNUI BLOODSTOCK LTD. Ran second at Ruakaka last start and another who could break Maiden ranks here.

 And last of all lining up in this race is MI SKY number 13, jumping from a wide barrier 17, carrying 56.5kgs and Samantha Collett engaged to ride her. This filly does show us a good turn of foot so we are looking forward to watching how this filly runs. Good luck to owner JOSIE HINES.

Race 3 at 1.37pm, which is a Benchmark 82 1400M we have AMAZING AZ number 9, jumping from barrier 5, carrying 54kgs and Cameron Lammas confirmed to ride. All the best to DONNA LOGAN, GS BLOODSTOCK LTD, PAUL SHADBOLT and STIRLING BLOODTOCK LTD. Ran second at the trials on May 14th. A great winning chance here.

Race 4 at 2.12pm, which is the 3YO SW+P 1600M we have MAC ATTACKA number 5, jumping from barrier 6, carrying 57.5kgs , Matthew Cameron aboard and running on behalf of STIRLING BLOODSTOCK LTD, DONNA LOGAN  and GRAEME FORBES. Won stylishly on debut at Ruakaka then didn't handle the Heavy 10 at Ellerslie. Another win would not surprise. 

  Also racing is QUIZMASTER number 1, jumping from barrier 4, carrying top weight 58.5kgs and Cameron Lammas booked to ride him. Good luck to our newest owners BILL AND LEXIA MARTIN also JACK & MIKE LUM and GRAEME BERGHAN and DONNA LOGAN. Won at Ruakaka in January , 3rd at Counties on 23rd May. Big chance here.

Race 5 at 2.47pm, which is a OPN HCP 1200M we have RIKKI TIKKI TAVI number 4, jumping from barrier 5, carrying 54kgs and Cameron Lammas engaged to ride her. Good luck to all the owners S Challis, VS Cronin, SW Dais, F Gianone, GS Bloodstock Ltd, PD and PD Jeffreys, D Logan, FD and Mrs JG Mein, K and K Phillips, PC Shadbolt and AB Skelton. Race 6 at 3.22pm, which is a 65 Benchmark 1200M we have CALL ME MURPHY number 4, jumping from barrier 11, with Cameron Lammas aboard weighing 58.5kgs. All the best DARCY WINTLE, JIM GIBBS, ALAN JOHNSON and J&T GLASGOW, CHRIS GIBBS AND MICHELLE BRADLEY  Won his last start at Ruakaka and has improved enough to feature again.

Also in this race we have MUMMS JEWEL number 12, jumping from barrier 4, carrying 57kgs and Matthew Cameron aboard. Good luck to K Benson, P Woods, D Wintle, K Anderson, C Boonen and C Thomson. Won at Ruakaka on 15th May and can repeat.

And also THE FAME GAME, a new horse to our stables but shows a lot of potential, number 15 jumping from a wide barrier 16, carrying 58kgs and Samantha Collett booked to ride. We look forward to seeing how he goes on behalf of ROBYN & RUSSELL ROGERS.

Race 7 at 3.57pm, which is a 65 Benchmark 1600M we have SUPER GEE number 1, jumping from barrier 2, carrying top weight 60kgs and Matthew Cameron confirmed to ride. This is going to be an exciting race for the owners D Logan, G Lemon, B Tait, Team Manukau Racing, G Cossey, J Simpson, and Cloughmore Racing Partnership. Big weight but can win.

 We also have RED DYNAMO number 9, jumping from barrier 15, carrying 58kgs and Cameron Lammas aboard. Good luck to CARTER BLOODSTOCK, ASHLEY GOODWIN, ROSS GWYN and IVY PEARSON. Won at Ruakaka in January and can run top 3 here.

 Also lining up is BOOGIE EASY number 13, jumping from barrier 8, carrying 55.5kgs and Craig Grylls aboard. All the best to the owners Boogies Bar Rarotonga Synd, B and W Cooper, S Moore, and Social Racing Starting Gates Synd. Has won at Ruakaka before and starting to develop into a nice type. Race 8 at 4.31pm, which is a 72 Benchmark 1600M we have POKERFACE number 8, jumping from barrier 3, carrying 58kgs and Andrew Calder booked to ride. Good luck to owners DR Barker, K Birchall, GJ Buchanan, B and Mrs V Collings, BJ and Mrs WP Cooper, BG and Mrs M Cross, HG Johnson, G Johnstone, Sandy Moore, AP Saker and C Wallis. This gelding has won at Ruakaka before and we expect a first 3 performance here.

 COPPER FOX  will also be racing number 9, jumping from barrier 2, carrying 57.5kgs and Sam Spratt engaged to ride him on behalf of the owners HENLEY PARK. In form and likes Ruakaka, another top 3 expectation.

 LADY SEQUOYAH number 11, jumping from barrier 13, carrying 55.5kgs with Cameron Lammas aboard. Good luck CARTER BLOODSTOCK and RANDAL & ANDREA FORDE. Ran 2nd at Ruakaka on May 15th and can feature here.
