BOXING DAY

We have two runners on Boxing day at Ellerslie. The first is FINAL SUGGESTION in race 1, he has been getting fitter with each run and we fully expect him to be near the top of his game on Thursday. He is a lovely stayer who would appreciate a litle moisture in the track to be at his best but hopefully being the first race it will have that. Both our runners have the services of Alysha Collett who is back from Singapore for Xmas so we are happy to have her on.

The second runner is MUMM"S JEWEL, a mare in good form at the moment. She ran a superb time the other day at Ellerslie, breaking 1:09 for the 1200m. She is again running at that distance but this is a major step up in class. This race is called the Hallmark (previously 'Newmarket') which is the normal lead up to the Railway Hcp. She is in lovely order, but with the likes of Avantage and last years Railway winner in Santa Monica in the race, it makes it a tough ask. She has the advantage of a light weight although she would be even lighter if there was no minimum weight. She is in race 5 as well but will be scratched from that to pursue some Black type. We are very happy with her.
