SEVEN STARTERS THIS WEEK FOR LOGAN RACING SINGAPORE

Great results last week with wins by Champagne Finale in the Class 5 Poly Mile $30k ridden by rising star  Ruan Maia and Gods Gift in the Restricted Maiden Mile Turf $75000 ridden perfectly by Alysha Collet . Many of our followers were rewarded with Gods Gift relishing the mile.

Friday 14th February

Race 4 the Restricted Maiden 1200m Turf $75000 sees Qiji Diamond start from barrier 2 ridden by Vlad Duric.The 3 YO Kuroshio gelding has had 5 starts for 5-0-2-2 and  had a huge run last start for second in a Restricted Maiden and third the time before that. Doesn't look overly strong with Zygarde and Brilliant Page possibly the hardest to beat. Overdue a win. 1st Nice win, just came to the end of it without a trial under his belt. Will improve and will hopefully step up in a 1400m Novis next.

Race 7 the Class 5 Mile Poly sees Official start from barrier 4 ridden by Ruan Maia. The 4 YO The Factor gelding has had 16 starts for 1-1-2 and will hopefully improve on his last couple of runs.Hopefully Ruan can work some magic.    7th Run was a bit disappointing as he has been working well. Will look at a 2000m Turf race at the end of the month. 

Race 8 the Class 3 1200m Poly sees Burkaan start from barrier 14 ridden by Ruan Maia. The 4 YO Burgundy gelding has had 15 starts for 4-1-1 and has won 2 of his last 4 starts in Class 4. Has a horror draw and will probably have to try and fly the gates and lead or trail. With a better draw he would be very dangerous. Fingers crossed. 12th    Never much hope from the wide draw first up after an operation. Jockey used him too much early but looked after him at the end. Will start again early March and will improve a lot. Needs a good draw.

Saturday 15th February

Race 2 the Class 4 Ploy 1000m sees Makkem Lad start from barrier 10 ridden by Vlad Duric. The 4 YO Kuroshio gelding has had 9 starts for 2-4-0 and has been off the scene after surgery. Is Group placed and has come back looking ready for action. Has been working well and a first 3 result is expected.   1st  Nice win, Classy horse.

Race 6 the Novice 100m Poly sees Diamond Ring start from barrier 7 ridden by Simon Kok. The 3 YO Super Easy gelding has had 4 starts for 1-0-2. Will improve on the run but has only been out of the money once and a big run is expected.      9th Forget the run, got galloped on at the 800m. Look out next up, will look for a Turf race next month.

Qiji Acheeva starts in the same race and will be ridden by Patrick Maloney from barrier 9. The 3 YO Anacheeva gelding has had 4 starts for 1-0-2. Another that will improve on the run and that has only been out of the money once. Should be in the finish here. Freedman's Healthy Star is obviously the horse to beat. 1st Stylish win, some nice 3 Year Old races coming up for him.

Race 8 the Class 4 Poly 1000m sees Super Posh start from barrier 7 ridden by Alysha Collett. The 4 YO Super Easy gelding is backing up. Has had 16 starts for 3-2-2 and was carted wide at the 700m last start. Has maintained weight , eaten up and looks ready to race again already. We expect another top 3 finish here.    9th Missed the kick and used early. Got his tongue over the bit. Much better than that.
