Logan Racing will line up 5 runners at Headquarters for its traditional New Year's day race meeting.

Race 1, The New Zealand Herald Special Conditions over 2100 metres sees Midnitemagicman line up. This 3YO Tavistock - Keep Alight gelding is owned by Mrs S & Z Bettley, Miss SA Hale, Mrs L & P Hennessy, Mrs M M & W L Robinson, G W & Mrs M W Simon. He has drawn barrier 4 and will be ridden by James McDonald.

Race 6, The Sound Great Northern Guineas, a Group 2 event over 1600 metres, sees Volkstocknbarrell line up. Another 3YO gelding by Tavistock - Volkster, he is owned by GJ Cossey, Mrs A Gibbs, CW Gibbs, JA Gibbs MNZM, AM Goodwin, IDL Racing Ltd, Mrs DM Logan & Rosemont Stud Pty Ltd. He has drawn barrier 10 and will be ridden by Matthew Cameron. 

Race 7, the Group 2 Rich Hill Mile will see Logan Racing line up two runners. Firstly, Candle In The Wind, a 5YO mare by Darci Brahma - Prefer Blondes is owned by GS Racing Ltd, B G Moffat, I R Gwyn & Cloughmore Racing Partnership. She has drawn barrier 9 and will be ridden by Kelly Myers. Also lining up will be To Be Sure who is owned by Mrs M L Bradley, M Corbett, A M Goodwin & W M Woods. This 5YO gelding by Patapan - OReally Impulsive has drawn barrier 4 and will be ridden by Samantha Collect.

Race 8, is the Group 1 Sistema Railway over 1200 metres. Durham Town will take his place at the head of the field. By Falkirk - Durham Walk has drawn barrier 19 and Opie Bosson will pilot the 7YO gelding who is owned by P D Collins, Mrs A Gibbs, J A Gibbs MNZM, J B Hart, Mrs D M Logan & D H Wale.
