LOGAN RACING LINES UP TWO RUNNERS IN THE TV3 NZ DERBY

The TV3 NZ Derby is one of New Zealand racing's blue ribbon events and Logan Racing will proudly line up two runners.

Firstly, stable favourite, Durham Town lines up in the Group 3, Darley Plate where he has drawn favourably in barrier 2. This 7YO Falkirk - Durham Walk gelding owned by P D Collins, Mrs A Gibbs, J A Gibbs MNZM, J B Hart, Mrs D M Logan and D H Wale will be ridden by senior hoop Opie Bosson.

The feature race on the card is the TV3 New Zealand Derby and Logan Racing will present a two pronged attack in this Group 1 event. Number 1 in the race is Volkstock'n'barrell, a Tavistock - Volkster gelding owned by G J Cossey, Mrs A Gibbs, C W Gibbs, J A Gibbs MNZM, A M Goodwin, IDL Racing Ltd, Mrs D M Logan & Rosemont Stud Pty Ltd. Regular jockey will pilot from barrier 4. Also in the event is another Tavistock gelding, Midnitemajicman. Out of Keeper mare Keep Alight, owners Mrs S & Z Bettley, Miss S A Hale, Mrs L & P Hennessy, A, Mrs M M & W L Robinson, G W & Mrs M W Simon will record Derby winning jockey Vinnie Colgan to pilot from barrier 7.
