LOGAN RACING STABLES HAVE 21 STARTERS AT RUAKAKA ON SATURDAY 13TH JUNE

Race 1 The A'Fare Caterers 1400m Maiden. Serengetti Sun has drawn 7 and will be ridden by Opie Bosson. The 3 year old gelding is by Buffalo Man out of Perfect Angel and is owned by JL Donaldson and D and J Van Buuren . His last start was at Ruakaka on May 20th where he got back and came home well for 4th. We expect a good run. Up On The Roof has drawn 1 and will be ridden by in form Michael McNab. The 3 year old gelding is by Patapan out of Paulamaroof is owned by W Woods. He is unplaced after 6 starts and is on his last chance.

Race 2 The Cowleys Hire Centre 1400m Maiden. Hasselhoof has drawn a shocker at 20 and will be ridden by Matt Cameron. The 3 year old by Tavistock out of Alpine is owned by B Alexander, G Cossey, D Logan and W Woods. He has won 2 trials and is on debut. The draw is a worry but we expect a big run. Silencer has drawn 16 and will be ridden by Opie Bosson. The 3 year old gelding is by Falkirk out of Quiet Please and is owned by Kaskazi Group Ltd. He finished 3rd in a trial at Avondale  on March 31st and is on debut.  Another wide draw makes this tough but hopefully we can quinella this.  

Race 3 The Fell Engineering 1600m Rating 75. Loves The Show has drawn 8 and will be ridden by Opie Bosson. The 5 year old Dehere gelding out of Go With The Wind is owned by LA Grant and GJ Pratt. He has had 32 starts for 4-4-3. He ran 5th in his last start at Taranaki on 9th May. He is new to the stable and has been working well. Big Voices has drawn 11 and will be ridden by Michael Coleman. The 4 year old mare is by Duke Of Marmalade out of Good Faith and is owned by Mark Treloar, Rising Star Syndicate and D Logan. She has had 20 starts for 2-2-2 and has been working well enough to feature here. She won at this meeting last year. Thornbird Lass has drawn 3 and will be ridden by Matt Cameron. The 4 year old mare is by Thorn Park out of Lyric is owned by GS Racing, B Moffat, G Sutherland and W Woods. She ran 4th in her last start at Ellerslie on June 1st on a heavy track. We expect her to be right in this.  

Race 5 The United Security Northland 1200m Rating 65.  In Flight has drawn 16 and will be ridden by Matt Cameron. The 4 year old gelding is by Fully Fledged out of Gypsy Rose and is owned by MG Dunn, J Gibbs, R Thornley, and EM Tynan. He has had 5 starts for 1-0-0. He won here on May 20th and although he has drawn wide he should be hard to beat again. Bill Breaker has drawn 2 and will be ridden by Sam Spratt if he gets a start. The 5 year old gelding is by Handsome Ransom out of Daneiro is owned by HT O'Leary. He has had 14 starts for 1-0-3. His last start was at Wanganui on June 12th where he ran 3rd. He is new to the stable and has been working on the beach. He should run well providing he makes the field. He is also balloted in the split race , race 9. Huckleberry Flyer has drawn 19 and will be ridden by Matt Cameron. The 4 year old gelding is also balloted and will struggle to get a start. He is also balloted in race 9.The 4 year old gelding is by No Excuse Needed out of De Palio and is owned by KR, MR, PR and RP Humphries. His last start was on June 1st when he ran 6th on a heavy 11 track at Ellerslie. Lets hope he makes one of these races.

Race 6 The Whangarei ITM 1200m OPN Handicap To Be Sure has drawn 7 and will be ridden by Matt Cameron. The 5 year old gelding is by Patapan out of O'Really Impulsive is owned by M Bradley, M Corbett, A Goodwin and W Woods. He has had 18 starts for 5-2-4. His last start was in the Easter Handicap where he ran 10th on a Slow 8 track on April 18th. On his work he should be hard to beat. He won at this meeting last year. 

Race 7 The Fell Engineering 2100m Rating 85. Uncle Shayne has drawn 1 and will be ridden by Matt Cameron. The 7 year old gelding is by Bachelor Duke out of Alarmed and is owned by GS Racing, D Logan and M Mathias. He has had 46 starts for 5-7-1. He ran last in his last start at Ellerslie on a Heavy 11 track  on May 23rd. We expect a reversal of that form. He won at this meeting last year. Radar has drawn 2 and will be ridden by Trudy Collett. THe 6 year old gelding is owned by G Cossey, M Darroch, W Hill and D Logan. He has had 28 starts for 3-8-2 and ran 8th on a Heavy 11 track at Ellerslie on May 23rd. He has been running really good times in track work and could well feature in this. 

Race 9 The Whangarei Love It Here 1200m Rating 65. Stand Your Ground has drawn 2 and will be ridden by Trudy Thornton. The 4 year old gelding by Coats Choice out of Cruella is owned by A Bradley, DR Frampton, A Goodwin, JE Harman and W Woods. He has had 20 starts for 2-3-3. He is resuming after a last start 2nd on March 18th.   

Race 10 The Croft Poles 1600m Rating 65. Finn's Halo has drawn 10 and will be ridden by Rogan Norvall. The 3 year old gelding is by Sakhee's Secret out of Our Rosalee and is owned by R Halse, D Logan and the estate of the late Dean Logan.He has had 7 starts for 1-1-0 and was last in his last start on a Heavy 10 track. He should perform a lot better here. Secret Lily has drawn 16 and will be ridden by Matt Cameron. The 4 year old mare is by Sakhee's Secret out of Desert Lily and is owned by Sir Peter Vela. She has had 6 starts for 1-3-0. She has won and placed second twice at Ruakaka and will hopefully get some of this  .Fiamette has drawn 12 and will be ridden by Samantha Collett. The 4 year old mare is by Bel Danoro out of Mother Flame  and is owned by M Darroch, R Dickey, D Gordon, S Logan, J McRea and W Woods. She has had 11 starts for 1-3-1. She won at Ruakaka on Jan 2nd and last at Ellerslie on a Heavy 11 track at Ellerslie on May 23rd. We expect a big run.  Zafrenzy  has drawn 11 and will be ridden by Michael McNab. He is balloted in both mile races.The 4 year old mare is by Savabeel out of Ihi Frenzy and is owned by C, MC, MK, and TP Dravitzki, Mrs KM Megchelse and L and T Vincent. She has had 12 starts for 1-0-0 and her last start was on May 24th at Egmont where she ran 6th. She is new to the stable and has been working well. 

Race 11 The A'Fare Caterers and Group 1600m Rating 65 River Raider has drawn 17 and will be ridden by Lee Magorrian. The 4 year old gelding is by Storm Creek out of Straight Ace and is owned by the estate of the late Dean Logan. He has had 9 starts for 1-2-1 and won his last start here in August. He ran 6th in his last start on a Heavy 10 track at Avondale on May 8th. He should run well but has to overcome a wide draw. Caduceus has drawn 1 and will be ridden by Michael Coleman. The 3 year old gelding is by Lucky Unicorn out of French Lion and is owned by ML Anghie,and  D and J Brescacin. He has had 7 starts for 2-0-1 and ran 2nd to last in his last start at Ruakaka on May 20th. He has improved in his work.  Sakology has drawn 9 and will be ridden by Danielle Johnson. The 4 year old mare is by Sakhee's Secret out of Astrology and is owned by D and P Seebeck, S Chissold and Astrology Syndicate. He has had 8 starts for 1-1-2. She ran 2nd at Matamata on a Dead 6 track on May 6th then 11th at Waikato on a Slow 8 track on June 6th. She will be backing up with blinkers on and we should see a big improvement.
