Kicking off the day for the team is in form In Flight who will be chasing his fourth win on end as he lines up in the Whangarei ITM R85 1200 metres. This 4 year old Fully Fledged - Gypsy Rose gelding is owned by MG Dunn, JA Gibbs MNZM, R Thornley and EM Tynan will have the services of Sam Spratt and has drawn barrier 7.
In the Croft Poles R65 1200 metres, the Logan Racing team has a two pronged attack with last start winners Rico and Silencer lining up. Rico, a 3 year old Captain Rio - Kiwi Supreme gelding is owned by AD Barker and CS Packer, will be ridden by Sam Spratt from barrier 1. Silencer, a 3 year old Falkirk - Quiet Please gelding who is owned by the Kaskazi Group Limited will be ridden by Leith Innes and has drawn barrier 7.
Irdy's Girl, is owned by HC Bloodstock, Jason Harris, Paulette Phillis and Michael Boriase has drawn barrier 12 in the Tavistock Syndicate Owners 2YO over 100 metres. Jockey Mark Hills takes the mount on this 2 year old Paco Boy - Smartway filly.
Race 5 is the ITM Whangarei Cup over 2100 metres. Another two pronged attack sees firstly Uncle Shayne, a 7 old Bachelor Duke - Alarmed gelding owned by GS Racing, Mrs DM Logan and MJ Matthias. Sam Spratt will ride from barrier 3. Also in the field and to be ridden by Mark Hills is Loves The Show, a 5 year old Dehere - Go With The Wind gelding owned by Mrs LA Grant and GJ Pratt, where he has drawn barrier 7.
In the ITM/GIB OPEN 1400 metres, To Be Sure has drawn barrier 7 and Sam Collett has the ride. This 5 year old Patapan - O'Really Impulsive gelding is owned by Mrs M Bradley, M Corbett, AM Goodwin and the estate of the late WM Woods.
The 91.6 More FM Maiden 1600 metres will see a quintet of Logan Racing runners line up in the blue and turquoise checkers, white sleeves with blue armbands. Heading the list is Super Ready, a 3 year old Perfectly Ready - Commonplace gelding owned by Lena Ang and will be ridden by Sam Spratt from barrier 11. Serengetti Sun is the second of the team lining up, he is a 3 year old Buffalo Man - Perfect Angel gelding owned by JL Donaldson, D&J Van Buuren and who will be ridden by Sam Collett from barrier 6. the aptly named, Up On The Roof, is another 3 year old gelding by Patapan - Paulamaroof who is owned by the estate of the late WM Woods and has Reece Jones as his pilot where is has drawn barrier 3. The consistent Warzone is the fourth Logan Racing representative. This 4 year old War Pass - She's Country mare is owned by Whakanui Stud and will be ridden by Vinnie Colgan from barrier 7. Finally, Malala, a 3 year old Thewayyouare - Danny Holiday filly who is owned by PJ&HJ Crofskey, GP Crofskey and PA McIntrye. Apprentice Shaun McKay takes the mount from barrier 10.
Big Voices lines up in the Bay of Islands ITM R75 over 1400 metres. She is a 4 year old Duke Of Marmalade - Good Faith mare owned by Mark Treloar and the Rising Star Syndicate. She will have the services of jockey Michael McNab but has drawn out wide in barrier 13.
In the lucky last race, Stand Your Ground is number one in the Cambridge Stud R65 1600 metres. This Coats Choice - Cruella 4 year old gelding is owned by A Bradley, DR Frampton, AM Goodwin, JE Harman and the estate of the late WM Woods. He has drawn barrier 4 and Sam Spratt takes the mount. Also in the field but currently second emergency is Huckleberry Flyer, a 4 year old No Excuse Needed - De Palio gelding. He is owned by Eveline Faulkner Ltd and Mark Hills has been declared as the jockey from barrier 11.
