LOGAN RACING STABLES HAVE 4 RUNNERS AT ELLERSLIE ON SATURDAY 24TH OCT AND 4 AT TE RAPA ON MONDAY 26TH OCT

Ellerslie

Race 2 Love Realty Ltd 2 Year Old 880m the stable have The Soultaker on debut.  A 2 year old colt by Iffraaj out of Miranda Miss and owned by George and Maryanne Simon, Dennis Tay, Ivy Pearson and Graham Lemon. He won a 800m trial at Ruakaka recently and has been working exceptionally well. He will be ridden by Vinny Colgan.

Race 3 Tom Kiely 1200m the stable have Libiamo. A 3 year old gelding by Cecconi out of Auvation  and owned by A Goodwin, GNJ  and GR Lethbridge and P Woods. He has had 1 unplaced run and has been working really well. He will be ridden by Lisa Allpress.  The other stable runner is  Sultan Of Swing a 3 year old colt by Bachelor Duke out of Queen Cha Cha , making him a half to Suavito. He is owned by IDL Racing and won a trial on Oct 6th at Ruakaka. We are worried about the rain coming and Ruakaka next Wednesday could become an option for some of our starters. Sultan Of Swing on his work and trial form appears to be a rising star. He will be ridden by Craig Grylls.

Race 9 Davis Funerals 1600m the stable have Rocknrolla, although she is first ballot. An unusual situation considering the 1400m race has 16 starters and the mile only 14. She is a 5 year old mare by Towkay and is owned by Mark Treloar, Donna Logan. Kim O'Riley, Len Reed, Tane Beckham, Nathan Pene, John Frew , Myra Langstone, Jan and Dave Mein and Colin Thomson. If she gets a start the rain will have come which should help and she could easily get some of this . She is also nominated for the Allied Security 1600m at Te Rapa  on Monday. She has had 26 starts for 4-3-6.

Te Rapa

Race 3 Team Wealleans 2100m the stable has Waznxpektinthat. A 4 year old gelding by NomDu Jeu out of La Force and owned by G Cossey, G Lemon, MS Crawford and D Logan. He has had 3 starts for 1-1-0 and finished very strongly for second over a mile at Ruakaka on September 30th. First time left handed and has been working well. A nice staying type of horse.

Race 9 Allied Security 1600m the stable has Rocknrolla if she doesn't start at Ellerslie. We also have Fiamette . A 5 year old Mare by Bel Danaro out of Mother Flame and owned by M Darroch, R Dickey, D Gordon, S Logan, J McCrea and P Woods. She has had 15 starts for 3-3-1 and if she runs to previous form can get some of this. The stables other runner is Zafrenzy . A 5 year old mare by Savabeel out of Ihi Frenzy and owned by Mrs C, MC, C, MK and TP Dravitzki and Mrs KM Megchelse and T Vincent. She has had 18 starts for 2-1-2 and ran a strong 3rd at Te Rapa on 2nd October so should be suited here.
