LOGAN RACING STABLES HAVE SIX RUNNERS AT RUAKAKA ON WEDNESDAY 28TH OCTOBER
Race 2 Cowleys Hire Centre 1600m we have Vicente on debut. The 3 year old colt is by Mr Nacho out of Danny Holiday , making him a half to Habibi. He is owned by Garry Cossey, Donna Logan, Heather and Peter Crofskey, Pam McIntyre, Ashly Goodwin, Aaron (Shifty) Bradley and Rod Edwards. He has drawn 5 and will be ridden by Samantha Collett. He won a 1400m trial at Ruakaka on October 6th and we expect him to be hard to beat.
Race 3 NZB Insurance Pearl Series 1200m f and m Maiden we have Laetitia on debut. The 3 year old filly is by Don Eduado out of Cattrall. She is owned by Ross Gwyn, JR Collinson, Haunui Bloodstock Ltd, C Feneridis, MJ Longstaff, and MG Armstrong .She has drawn 8 and will be ridden by Matt Cameron. She ran a nice second in a 1000m trial at Ruakaka on October 6th and we expect a very big run here.
Race 4 Kerikeri Colour Centre 1400m we have Mongolian Spear on debut. The 3 year old colt is by Testa Rossa out of Margherita. He is owned by Inner Mongolia Rider Horse Industry (NZ) Ltd. He has drawn 13 and will be ridden by Matt Cameron. He ran a nice second in a 1200m trial at Ruakaka on October 6th and he should be right in the finish here. We also have Double Malt starting in this race. The 3 year old filly is by Showcasing out of Royal Malt. She has drawn 9 and will be ridden by Brendon Hutton. Owned by John and Victoria Carter , Brian Carter, and Carter Bloodstock she has had 2 starts for no result. We are hoping for a much better run this time.
Race 5 Whangarei Love It Here 1200m we have Cambridge on debut. The 3 year old colt is by Tavistock out of Ugly Betty. He is owned by NZ Thoroughbred Holdings Ltd and appears to be another of the stables extra good Tavistock's to be unleashed. He ran a nice second in a 1000m trial on October 6th at Ruakaka. We expect him to be hard to beat.
Race 6 Lion Red 1400m we have Card Shark. The 4 year old gelding is by Postponed out of Straight Ace. He is owned by the estate of the late Dean Logan. He has drawn 13 and will be ridden by Lisa Allpress. He has had 1 unplaced start and ran 4th in a 1200m trial at Ruakaka on 6th October. We are hoping for an improved run.
