CAN LOGAN RACING STABLES WIN ON BOTH SIDES OF THE TASMAN TODAY SATURDAY 20TH FEBRUARY. HONOUR PRINCESS IN NEW ZEALAND AND HASSELHOOF IN AUSTRALIA

Before Hasselhoof lines up in the Parramatta Cup today at Rosehill Honour Princess will start in the Hamilton Eye Clinic 1600m Rating 65 Benchmark Fillies and Mares at  Ellerslie from barrier 6 and will be ridden by Sam Spratt.

The 3 year old Ekraar filly is owned by Ross Powell,John Carter, Brian Carter and Linwood Park Stud Ltd . Has had 2 starts for 1-0-0.

There doesn't appear to be a lot of speed in the race with High Class, Elfee and Capriella most likely to go forward. Honour Princess had a strong maiden win over 1200m at Ruakaka on January 5th and then went to Ellerslie on January 24th and ran 5th in a 1400m race. A slightly tardy start and then she was shuffled back. Made ground late in what was a strong form race. If she jumps well and gets a nice sit she will improve with extra ground. We would be surprised if she didn't finish in the money.
