Lonestar Pukekoe Rating 75 1200m sees Zafrenzy start from barrier 1 ridden by Alysha Collett. The 5 year old Savabeel mare is owned by Mrs CA, MC, MK and TP Dravitzki, Mrs KM Megchelse , LE and TM Vincent. She has had 24 starts for 2-2-3. Her last start was on January 1st at Ellerslie in the Dunstan Feeds Championship where she finished 8th on a soft track after beginning awkwardly and being hampered in her run. She has been working really well and should feature in the finish.

Counties Power Maiden 3 year old 1400m sees Libiamo start from barrier 7 ridden by Brendan Hutton(a1). The 3 year old Cecconi gelding is owned by Property Tycoon AM Goodwin, GNJ and GR Lethbridge and P Woods. He has had 3 starts for 0-0-1. He trialed and stood in the gates and had to trial again on 21st April over 900m. He jumped well and won the trial. If he does everything right he will be hard to beat. His name is from a famous opera and means to toast so lets hope we can get the champers out.

Hynds Pipe Systems 1400m Rating 75 sees Fiamette start from barrier 4 ridden by Samantha Collett. The 5 year old Bel Danaro mare is owned by M Darroch, PR Dickey, D Gordon, Miss SM Logan, J McCrea and P Woods. She has had 16 starts for 3-3-1 and hasn't started since October 31st. She is a capable mare and friday's race will give us a line on where she is this time in. She has been working well enough to get some of this.

Business Lunch @ The Races 25 May 1600m sees Mongolian Spear start from barrier 7 ridden by Samantha Collett. The 3 year old Testa Rossa colt is owned by Inner Mongolia Rider Horse Industry (NZ) Ltd. His last start was on 20th April . Has been working well but needs to improve.

Gavelhouse .Com 1200m Rating 65 sees Out Of Friendship start from barrier 6 ridden by Craig Grylls. The 5 year old mare is owned by Mrs JH and JR C and Cameron , Mrs E and MH Oram WCY Fan and MF Tung. She has had 5 starts for 1-1-2 and won her last start at Rotorua on 8th January over 1200m in impressive fashion. She is new to the stable and held in very high regard. She will be hard to beat.

AUSTRALIA - GOLD COAST 

All - New Jaguar F - Pace A.D. Hollindale Stakes WFA Group 2 1800m sees Volkstok'n'barrel start from barrier 12 ridden by Blake Shinn. The 4 year old Tavistock gelding is owned by Garry Cossey, Ashley Goodwin, Rosemont Stud Pty Ltd, Jim and Ann Gibbs and Donna Logan. He has had 19 starts for 8-1-3 including his 2 recent Group 1's in New Zealand. His last start in the Doncaster was disappointing on a track that wasn't to his liking (sticky). We drove to the Gold Coast and had a look at the track yesterday and it looks to have dried out nicely since the rain earlier this week. It is a very good draining surface and he should like it as long as the rain stays away. Volkstok'n'barrel worked nicely this morning around the outside of the course proper at Doomben. A  quiete,  polishing gallop, home in 37. He had a small blow and there is improvement in him. Donna is confident of a first 3 finish.
