TOORAK TOWER WINS STYLISHLY AT RUAKAKA SATURDAY 10TH SEPTEMBER

It may have only been a Ruakaka Maiden but a lot of good horses start out at Ruakaka. Volkstok'n'barrel won this race on 13th September 2014 in a time 2 seconds slower although on a rain affected track and then went on to win the Bonecrusher, Habibi didn't fire until a bit later on 17th October winning over 1200m at Ruakaka.  Toorak Tower could be a Derby horse. The stable should have many Derby chances including Romancer.

Toorak Tower won the Kensington Tavern Supports Hundertwasser Art Maiden 3 year old 1400m in a time of 1.23.99 ridden by Vinnie Colgan. The 3 year old Toorak Toff  is owned by  Fern Vale Farm Pty Ltd , Rosemont Stud Pty Ltd and Donna Logan who requested  a share in him when she got him to train. She instantly fell in love with him.

Toorak Toff has had 7 winners from 21 starters, one of the best strike rates in Australia for second season stallions. Standing at $8800 ,(negotiable) ring Donna to sweet talk Nigel and Anthony. He is a great outcross option for all those Danehill line mares like Vignor (Toorak Towers mother) by Flying Spur. His pinup horse through the first season was Pop who was a smart maiden winner before going on to run 5th in the Group 1 Champagne. He's had three winners already in the new season with a strong feeling from trainers with them in their barns that they will get better as 3 year olds and over a mile or further.
