Chris Gibbs and Donna Logan were thrilled with the performance of The Soultaker in yesterdays Manuka Doctor Bonecrusher Stakes. Winning by 1.25 lengths in a time of 1.33.64 on a heavy track that was not to the colts liking. The Ifraaj was ridden superbly by Mark Du Plessis who was given the instruction to stay near the rail after Chris Gibbs walked the track. Owned by Dennis Tay, Ivy Pearson, Maryanne and George Simon , Graeme Lemon and Donna Logan and was bred out of Miranda Miss by Maryanne and George who might have his half brother by Tavistock in the upcoming yearling sales and a gelding by Commands out of Marie Claire , mother of Miranda Miss in the Ready To Run sale. 7 starts for 2-3-0 and stake money of $99490 this colt is destined for Group 1 status.
