Race 2 the Redwood @Westbury Stud 2100m Maiden sees Raison D'Etre  start from barrier 1 ridden by Sam Collett. The 4 year old Redwood mare is owned by Stirling Bloodstock and has had 3 starts for 0-0-1. Ran a nice 3rd at Ruakaka on August 16th and then 4th on a Heavy track at Waikato on September 20th. Could break maiden ranks here.

Race 3 the United Security Nothland Maiden Mile sees Red My Mind start from barrier 2 ridden by Mathew Cameron. The 4 year old Red Giant gelding is owned by the very patient Garry Cossey, Phil Abraham, Patrick Harrison, Donna Logan and Ivy Pearson. He won a trial on 2nd May and is on debut. Has been working really nice and could get some of this. Is a half to Telepathic.

Dragon Storm starts in the same race from barrier 4 ridden by Leith Innes. The 3 year old Shocking colt is owned by NZCJC Dragon Storm Syndicate and Inner Mongolia Horse Industry (NZ) Ltd. Has had 1 unplaced trial. Is bred to stay being out of Prized Lady. Will have a line on him after this.

Race 4 the Lion Red Maiden 1400m sees Good Sunshine start from barrier 2 ridden by Cameron Lammas. The 3 year old Redoute's Choice colt is owned by Mark Treloar and has had 2 starts for 0-0-1. Ran 3rd at Ruakaka on a Slow 7 track on 8th July and then 9th at Ruakaka on August 16th after beginning awkwardly and being hampered. Nice horse that should be in the mix.
