COMMAND ROYALE TO START IN SINGAPORE ON FRIDAY JUNE 22

Logan Racing Singapore Preview
Logan racing will have just the one runner this weekend, where Donna will saddle up COMMAND ROYALE at Kranji on Friday night (22 June). With both the Singapore and New Zealand stables having a huge weekend of racing last week, Donna is hoping COMMAND ROYALE will keep the stables good run going. COMMAND ROYALE is an extremely consistent galloper who was transferred to Singapore from our New Zealand stable is hunting his first win since the move.

R8 – No. 2 COMMAND ROYALE – WS Chan
The 4YO Court Command gelding is having his third start on Friday at Kranji in a Class 3 1200m ($80,000) on the Polytrack, the scene of his two slashing trials at the start of this prep. The ever-consistent record he produced during his nine start New Zealand career (3 win, 2 seconds, 1 third) where he was trained by Donna and Chris, COMMAND ROYALE was part of the first shipment of Logan Racing runners to arrive in Singapore for the stable, back in January. COMMAND ROYALE went a huge race first up under stable apprentice WS Chan, who takes the reigns again on Friday, only to be run down just short of the post (27 April) to finish 4th. Second up, COMMAND ROYALE was faced with a wetter Kranji surface as he raced on the turf short course on the Kranji Mile undercard (26 May) where he drew wide (Fifteen of 16) and was caught wide in transit, along with the slower surface, this was enough to just dampen his sprint in the finish, where he wound up in seventh. Unfortunately, on Friday, he has come up with another wide draw of barrier thirteen in a 14-horse field. Stable apprentice WS Chan is engaged and will claim 3KG, therefore, COMMAND ROYALE will only carry 53.5KG. Donna was very pleased with his first up run in Singapore and felt that his last run had merit based on circumstances, she is very confident that she presents COMMAND ROYALE in great order for Fridays assignment, but has reserves that he will be inconvenienced from the wide draw.
