Handsome Mates takes his place in Race 7, the Barfoot and Thompson Trophy, a Rating 75 event over 1600 metres. Again Reese Jones takes the mount on this Handsome Ransom - Kimberley Rose 7YO gelding. He is second up for this campaign and has drawn barrier 4 for owners P D Collins, J B Hart, R J W Seton & D H Wale, good luck to the team.

In Race 8, the Air Tahiti Mile, Darci Brahma - Prefer Blondes 4YO mare, Candle In The Wind continues her progression for owners; Cloughmore Racing Partnership, GS Racing Ltd, Mrs D M Logan Ross Gwyn and B G Moffat. She will be ridden by Rogan Norvall and has drawn barrier 9 in this Rating 75 event over 1600 metres.
