LOGAN RACING RUNNERS @ RUAKAKA, TE AROHA and SYDNEY

The Whangarei Racing Club hosts at Ruakaka this Friday and Logan Racing will be well represented 'Where the Turf meets the Surf'.

Paco Kid starts the day for Logan Racing in Race 1, the Cowley's Hire Centre Maiden 2100 metres. This 5YO Hawkeye - Petal on Point gelding will be ridden by Danielle Johnson and has drawn barrier 3 for owners N R and Mrs PJ Sinclair.

Owners GS Racing Ltd, B G Moffat, G Sutherland & W M Woods have their charge, Thornbird Lass nominated in both Race 2 and 3. Jockeys Rory Hutchings and Danielle been engaged respectively, we will decide closer to the time as to which race best suits this 3YO Thorn Park - Lyric filly.

The Judge House of Ale, a Rating 65 event over 1200 metres sees the return to racing of To Be Sure. Mark 'Boots' Sweeney has been booked to this 4YO Patapan - OReally Implusive gelding. Good luck to owners M Corbett, A M Goodwin, Miss M L Marshall, K L, Mrs S L & Miss T L Wood & W M Woods.

Stable newcomer, Jenuwin rounds off proceedings for Logan Racing when she competes in the 91.6 More FM Maiden over 1400 metres. This 4YO Iffraaj - Anna's Choice mare has drawn barrier 11 with Mark Du Plessis engaged to ride. On Saturday, Te Aroha hosts the Group 1, NZ Thoroughbred Breeders Stakes. Logan Racing will have two runners competing at this meeting starting off with Ngatira Gold in Race 1, the Super Liquor Te Aroha Rating 65 over 1600 metres. It's the second start back for this 3YO Gold Centre - Desdemona and he will be ridden by in form Sam Spratt and has drawn barrier 4. Good luck to owners  Donna Logan, Amey Hardy, Russell Ensor, Bryce Moffat, Colin Thomson, Tim Charman & Jared Blucher.

Race 5 sees the consistent Kendoka line up in the First Credit Union, Rating 75 event over 2200 metres. This 4YO Reset - Kwan mare will be ridden from barrier 7 by jockey Mark Du Plessis for owner, Pencarrow Stud's Sir Peter Vela. 

Across the Tasman, Rising Romance competes in the Vinery Stud Stakes for 3YO fillies at Rosehill Gardens in Sydney over 2000 metres. International Kiwi jockey James McDonald has been engaged for the mount on this Ekraar - Post Romance filly for owners John & Brian Carter & Ross Powell. Good luck to the team.

Horse, trainer and staff departed New Zealand yesterday and have arrived safe, settled and ready to go.
