On Saturday, Te Aroha hosts the Group 1, NZ Thoroughbred Breeders Stakes. Logan Racing will have two runners competing at this meeting starting off with Ngatira Gold in Race 1, the Super Liquor Te Aroha Rating 65 over 1600 metres. It's the second start back for this 3YO Gold Centre - Desdemona and he will be ridden by in form Sam Spratt and has drawn barrier 4. Race 5 sees the consistent Kendoka line up in the First Credit Union, Rating 75 event over 2200 metres. This 4YO Reset - Kwan mare will be ridden from barrier 7 by jockey Mark Du Plessis for owner, Pencarrow Stud's Sir Peter Vela.
Across the Tasman, Rising Romance competes in the Vinery Stud Stakes for 3YO fillies at Rosehill Gardens in Sydney over 2000 metres. International Kiwi jockey James McDonald has been engaged for the mount on this Ekraar - Post Romance filly for owners John & Brian Carter & Ross Powell. Good luck to the team.
